The G&L Custom Shop is a separate internal division within G&L USA, managed by David, providing customers exclusive access to personally selected woods, finish choices, custom routing and pickup options and an obsessive attention to the finer details of guitar making. We worked with David personally to select the woods for this fine instrument, and requested some personal tweaks to ensure this guitar has the best of modern technology married to Leo's classic designs from the 1950s. If you are looking for a mid-'50s inspired S-type but want the ultimate in comfort and playability, without sacrificing vintage vibe and massive tone, look no further.

- Vintage Tint neck, gloss headstock and fingerboard with "deglossed"back of neck for smooth, never sticky feel
- Soft V shape neck profile, start=s with a soft V .838" thick at the first fret and gradually rounds out to a .984" C at the 12th fret. Amazing feel!
