My experience as a Schecter USA Custom Shop dealer extends back to 1996. The same craftsmen whose work I fell in love with back then are still making these new Schecter USA instruments. Shigeki Aoshima's attention to detail is second to none, and his hand-finished fret jobs are a sight to behold. This particular instrument differs from other USA Production instruments as it was part of a run that was specified with Jescar Stainless Steel Frets (versus the normal nickel silver). Stainless steel frets ensure ultra-smooth playability that will remain that way for years - no wear and no corrosion or oxidation - ever!
There is little doubt that the value these USA Schecter Production guitars represent meets or surpasses any brand on the market today. I invite you to compare the quality of materials and construction, as well as the playability and tone, to your favorite guitars. Part of a 6 piece inaugural run of the new Schecter USA Production model, this guitar features a luxuriously quilted maple top. A contoured 4-bolt neck heel joins the quarter sawn neck to the lightweight swamp ash body. The pau ferro fingerboard has a 16" radius with impeccably dressed jumbo Jescar stainless steel frets with hidden fret tangs. House-made Schecter USA pickups provide an amazing variety of fat humbucker and luscious single-coil tones.
