The solid one-piece flame maple body coupled to a master-grade pau ferro neck and fretboard form the perfect platform for this extraordinarily versatile and absolutely stunning guitar. This figured maple body is a lightweight and extremely toneful example of an exception to the "rule" that maple bodies are heavy and bright sounding. The overall weight of the guitar is 8.2 pounds, which considering the Floyd and Pau Ferro neck is quite light. Fretwork, finish and set up are immaculate and second to none. The 5-way switching provides an array of humbucker and single coil tones that will cut any stage or studio gig you can throw at it and the Original Floyd Rose tremolo provides sustain and tuning stability that can't be achieved with any other bridge. This Ted Stevenson 'Standard' comes in an upgraded custom fit leather hardshell case that was custom built for this guitar and is a presentation-grade storage/display case.
