Product Overview
This is the first instrument in the new Tucker Burst finish from James Tyler Guitars. The story goes like this: I called up my good friend Rich at Tyler and said,"Hey wouldn't it be cool if we did a translucent finish using the colors from the Tuckerberry Shmear? And he siad,"Yes, as a matter of fact, Tucker and I were just discussing this. Would you like the first one?" And so here we are.
I have to also comment about the weight of this guitar. At 7 pounds even, I though my Arctic Shmear was really quite light for a solid alder superstrat. Well let me tell you, at 6 pounds 8 ounces, this feather-weight beauty is so loud and resonant you'd think it was semi-hollow, and is perfect for players who prefer a lighter load on the shoulder.
