The Violet EM does not compromise on sound or workmanship. The soundboard of the instrument is made from carefully selected Engelmann spruce, whose excellent acoustic properties are further enhanced by our innovative individual voicing process. The back and sides are made from African mahogany. This combination gives the guitar a perfectly balanced sound with clear highs, warm bass and long-lasting sustain. It is thus ideal for delicate fingerstyle as well as more aggressive flatpicking or strumming.

In addition to a number of dark appointments, the beautiful natural appearance of the instrument is further enhanced by our Open-Pore Finish, which leaves the deep pores of the wood open. The Violet EM is available in both dreadnought and grand auditorium with cutaway.

Discover Your Sound With Individual Soundboard Voicing

Our unique voicing process fine-tunes each soundboard to perfection, resulting in guitars that consistently deliver crystal-clear, harmonically rich tone. This precise adjustment ensures a balanced and dynamic sound across the entire tonal range, allowing your music to truly come alive.

Make Every Note Shine With Furch’s Resonance Enhancing Finish

Every Furch guitar features our uniquely developed ultra-thin lacquer that not only protects, but also enhances your instrument’s natural resonance, creating a richer, fuller sound that brings out the true character of each note. Additionally, it highlights the wood’s natural beauty, ensuring your Furch guitar is as visually stunning as it sounds.

All grown-up

Like all our other models, the Violet EM a is made exclusively from solid wood. The soundboard comes from carefully selected Engelmann spruce and the back and sides are made from African mahogany. This combination makes the Violet EM a a superbly tuned instrument with a long sustain.

Built to Play, Engineered to Last With Furch CNR System^® Active

The Furch CNR System^® Active neck design takes our original CNR System^® to the next level, offering unparalleled stability and precision for players who demand consistent performance. This innovative design adapts seamlessly to changes in humidity while maintaining perfect playability, ensuring your guitar feels and plays the way you want it to—every time you pick it up. Featuring a dual-action truss rod encased in a rigid carbon structure, the system is further enhanced by a solid-wood expansion element that automatically adjusts the neck angle to maintain consistent string action over time. It minimizes the need for costly, time-consuming neck resets and eliminates maintenance concerns, giving you the freedom to adjust your setup quickly and easily and allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the joy of playing—because that’s what truly matters.

Contrasting black details

The spruce soundboard of the Violet EM a is decorated with binding, pickguard and an annular rosette in a contrasting black design.

Excellent playability

The Brankowood® fretboard of the guitar is equipped with special shortened frets which deliberately do not extend to the edge of the fretboard. This prevents them from protruding due to fretboard shrinkage at lower humidity. The resulting area contains a flexible ebony-colored filler, which can perfectly absorb any changes.

Killerburst is a traditional brick-and-mortar retail store serving local customers while also shipping items around the world. If an unforeseen circumstance causes a delay, you will be contacted promptly to discuss delivery or refund options.

Satisfaction evaluation

Returns

We make every effort to ensure that you are thoroughly satisfied with purchases made through Killerburst Guitars. We also understand that buying an instrument without first playing it can involve uncertainty. New, in-stock guitars purchased at regular price include a three-day satisfaction-guaranteed evaluation period.

If an instrument is not right for you, contact Killerburst within three days of receiving it to request a return authorization. Original shipping charges and any non-refundable payment-processing fees will be deducted from the refund. Return shipping and insurance are the customer’s responsibility.

Returned instruments are inspected to confirm that they are complete, unaltered and in new condition. Damage or alterations may result in a restocking fee to cover repair costs or a required markdown.

Items generally not eligible for refund

Consignment or special-order instruments, closeout or discounted items, accessories and amplifiers are not eligible for refund unless explicitly discussed and agreed upon before purchase.

In-store purchases and online orders for instruments tested in person are not eligible for cash refunds. An even exchange or store credit will be provided for qualifying instruments returned within three days in unaltered, undamaged condition with all original materials and packaging. Items involved in a trade-in deal or layaway are not returnable.

Built or sourced for you

Special orders

Custom guitars are a Killerburst specialty. Jon will spend the time needed to get the details right. Because custom instruments are personal and built for a specific player, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required when the order is placed, with the balance due when the instrument is complete. A custom-guitar order cannot be canceled after the builder accepts the commission.

Changes requested after an order is placed are subject to the builder’s terms and may involve additional charges or may not be accepted once the build is underway. Any non-stock item ordered specifically for you requires a non-refundable deposit and is non-cancelable and non-returnable unless explicitly agreed upon before purchase.
