The Dreamcatcher™ Bridge reflects John Petrucci’s continuing process of refining and expanding his sound. Although designed specifically for John’s neck-through signature Ernie Ball Music Man Majesty guitar, the basic performance shows the overall direction John said he wants to follow in pursuit of his personal sound. This pickup has an increased sensitivity to pick attack and more dynamic range overall. The Dreamcatcher™ Bridge focuses more power on the low mids to allow the bridge position to cut through the mix without brittle highs or muddy lows.
John claims, “These pickups are truly inspirational, and I look forward to hearing them roar on stage and in the studio night after night!”
The Dreamcatcher™ Bridge is a heavyweight pickup that’s also light on its feet. It has power but is not ultra-high output. The power is concentrated on the low mids, and there is a small scoop in the upper mids to keep the overall sound both warm and defined. The split sound is both full and very focused for the middle position neck and bridge split combination that John Petrucci is known for.
The Dreamcatcher™ Bridge is available in F-spacing only.

Shipping
Standard UPS Ground shipping is included for most orders shipped within the continental United States. Any applicable shipping costs will be shown on the cart page during checkout. In-stock items are typically processed and shipped within one to two business days.
Killerburst is a traditional brick-and-mortar retail store serving local customers while also shipping items around the world. Occasionally, an item shown online as in stock may have sold in the store or through another marketplace and may not be immediately available. If an unforeseen circumstance causes a delay, you will be contacted promptly to discuss delivery or refund options.
Satisfaction evaluation
Returns
We make every effort to ensure that you are thoroughly satisfied with purchases made through Killerburst Guitars. We also understand that buying an instrument without first playing it can involve uncertainty. New, in-stock guitars purchased at regular price include a three-day satisfaction-guaranteed evaluation period.
If an instrument is not right for you, contact Killerburst within three days of receiving it to request a return authorization. Original shipping charges and any non-refundable payment-processing fees will be deducted from the refund. Return shipping and insurance are the customer’s responsibility.
Returned instruments are inspected to confirm that they are complete, unaltered and in new condition. Damage or alterations may result in a restocking fee to cover repair costs or a required markdown.
Items generally not eligible for refund
Consignment or special-order instruments, closeout or discounted items, accessories and amplifiers are not eligible for refund unless explicitly discussed and agreed upon before purchase.
In-store purchases and online orders for instruments tested in person are not eligible for cash refunds. An even exchange or store credit will be provided for qualifying instruments returned within three days in unaltered, undamaged condition with all original materials and packaging. Items involved in a trade-in deal or layaway are not returnable.

Special orders
Custom guitars are a Killerburst specialty. Jon will spend the time needed to get the details right. Because custom instruments are personal and built for a specific player, a 30% non-refundable deposit is required when the order is placed, with the balance due when the instrument is complete. A custom-guitar order cannot be canceled after the builder accepts the commission.
Changes requested after an order is placed are subject to the builder’s terms and may involve additional charges or may not be accepted once the build is underway. Any non-stock item ordered specifically for you requires a non-refundable deposit and is non-cancelable and non-returnable unless explicitly agreed upon before purchase.
