The Classic Series of James Tyler Guitars have all the familiar lines of this lineage with the best of the modern advantages Tyler instill in all his electric guitars. This model combines classic good looks with a variety of pickup, hardware and finish options, keeping with the traditional look while allowing a more personal touch makes this electric guitar a favorite.
JT Classic Base Model Spec Comparison:
Classic: This model comes standard with an SSS configuration of Tyler Electric True Single Coil pickups in a plain colored pickguard with a master volume and two tone controls, and vintage-style Kluson tuners.
L.A. Studio Classic: This model comes standard with a HSS configuration of Tyler Electric True Single Coil and Humbucker pickups in a plain colored pickguard with a master volume and tone, midboost preamp circuit wth bypass button, and Hipshot locking tuners.
Classic Custom: This model comes standard with a HSS configuration of Dual Coil Single Coil and Tyler Electric Humbucker pickups in a white pearl pickguard with a master volume, lead/rhythm circuit, midboost preamp circuit wth bypass button, and Hipshot locking tuners. This is essentially the full-blown SE package on a Classic.
